POZNAŃ CATHEDRAL CHOIR

The Poznań Cathedral Choir is the heir of 600-year tradition of singing nearby the first Polish Cathedral, in the place where the Polish state came into being. We are the successors of historical heritage which is a source of our strength for everyday's work, not only in the Choir.

Because the Poznań Cathedral Choir is not only a workshop of musical precision and beauty. One of our most important mission is to make shure that our singers in their adult life will behave accordingly to the values of christianity. Work in our Choir is the school of life, not only of the music.

Musically, our first task is to enrich liturgy in Poznań Cathedral. This is our main important place of action. However, we participate in many musical events, performing pieces of wide range of Polish, European and world authors. Annualy we take part in approximately 70 concerts, some of which are performed abroad.
